Please be sure to email your flight arrival and departure information if you have not already done so.

BEACH EQUIPMENT
If available, please feel free to use them for your enjoyment. This includes beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, etc. Please be mindful and return them so that the next guests can enjoy them.
BBQ
Almost all home and condo rentals include a BBQ. Please use them safely and enjoy! Please clean the grill top after each use. Some condo properties do not allow BBQ’s.
CHECKOUT
Check-out is 10 AM. Late checkouts are not acceptable unless prearranged. This allows our cleaners enough time to prepare the home for the next arrival.
CLOTHING SUGGESTIONSYou will not need ‘heavy clothing’. Everything on Kauai is casual. Don’t forget to bring walking shoes. Pack an old pair for hiking and a newer for walking. Flip-flops or sandals are a must. It is a good idea to pack a water-proof/windbreaker jacket and sweater.DISHWASHER
If applicable, carefully put soap in the proper dispenser. The dishwasher will not operate appropriately if done incorrectly.
FOOD STORAGE
Keep all food and drinks in the refrigerator or very tightly wrapped and stored. Bread shall also be stored in the refrigerator, as it will mold quickly if left out. This will avoid the neighborhood cats and dogs – you will regret their intrusion.
GROCERIES
We recommend that you do your grocery shopping in the major chains, as groceries in the smaller stores tend to be more expensive. If headed north, Safeway in Kapaa. We also have Walmart, Kmart, and Costco in Lihue. For natural/organic food stores please find Papayas in Kapaa and Hanalei. Healthy Hut in Kilauea is located off of Lighthouse Rd. in the stone building.

WEATHER
Weather conditions on Kauai are like anywhere else in the world, unpredictable. Though Winter can be surprisingly chilly, even for visitors. Summer (May-October) and Winter (November-April) are the 2 significant seasons.
WET ANYTHING
Wet items should be left or stored outside. Please do not sit on bedding or furniture with wetsuits and do not place towels on the furniture – they stain and cause mildew!
